Anne-Marie Calvi joined NRA in 2007 and has experience in water quality monitoring and sound knowledge in the field of trace metal analysis.
Anne-Marie studied at Deakin University, Warrnambool campus, located in the south west of Victoria. Anne-Marie graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Marine and Freshwater Science) in 2005 and a Bachelor of Environmental Science (honours) in 2006. Her honours project was titled ‘Trace Metal Concentrations in Wild and Cultured Australian Short-Finned Eel (Anguilla australis Richardson)’.
While a student at Deakin, Anne-Marie commenced work at the University’s Water Quality Laboratory and continued this work until July 2006. Her main duties included testing various water quality parameters using proven and developed methodologies. Anne-Marie also worked at Deakin University as Technical Officer (Chemistry) where she assisted with the day to day running of the laboratory and provided field and laboratory assistance to staff, honours and post-graduate students.
