Pipelines:

The waste to resource success story of coal seam methane gas utilisation has involved the construction of infrastructure to convey the product from source to user. NRA was joint project manager for the Enertrade gas pipeline project. We undertook the entire flora study and 50% of the remaining ecological studies (fauna, soils, water) for this 400 km corridor project. Post-construction, NRA has been conducting specialist monitoring of the Black-throated Finch (BTF), an Endangered bird species found in the Townsville region. We have positively contributed to knowledge of this species and the development and application of impact avoidance and mitigation measures.
