Ian Perkins

Ian Perkins is a land use and resource management consultant with extensive experience in resource management in Australia and overseas. He has worked as a researcher, manager and consultant in the sheep and cattle industries. He has experience in group consultation, coordination and workshop facilitation, and plays an active role in a number of producer organisations, including the Cattlemen's Union and Landcare. Ian has a deep commitment to the development of sustainable resource use systems and to reconciliation. Ian is currently managing a family-owned beef cattle property in northern New South Wales and works as a resource use consultant throughout Australia. Clients include pastoralists, farmers, mining companies and Aboriginal communities.
