Kirsty has a Bachelor of Arts (English and Italian) with Honours (English). She is responsible for the production of NRA scientific and technical reports, induction manuals, training materials, and website, as well as scientific articles (ie monographs, journal papers, and conference materials) submitted for publication external to NRA. Her key responsibilities are as follows.

  • Edit reports, letters, technical notes and proposals for content, style and document design.
  • Collaborate with authors to improve the delivery of technical information.
  • Coordinate production of scientific reports.
  • Provide background material for reports and proposals.
  • Assist with tenders.
  • Undertake word processing and formatting tasks.
  • Maintain NRA’s Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Produce and update workplace procedures and marketing material.
  • Maintain house style.
  • Maintain in-house library materials and database.
  • Assist with office administration and assist consultants as required.

Kirsty is proficient in editing hard copy and digital material and is skilled in project and database management. She routinely uses programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat X Pro and MapInfo. Kirsty possesses advanced analytical writing skills and knowledge of grammar—these allow her to maintain the production of high quality reports and scientific documents for NRA.
