Susan is an environmental scientist with over nine years of professional experience in environmental science and consulting at NRA. Susan’s experience includes management plans for sewage treatment plants and workshops; licensing and permit approval applications for and Local and State Governments, planners and quarry operators; geographic information systems (GIS) and spatial analysis.
Susan’s primary role at NRA is to provide high quality GIS data and maps for client reports and for use in the field. Susan excelled in her degree at James Cook University and received the Award for Excellence in GIS and Spatial Analysis, as well as an Academic Medal for Excellence in Coursework. She has well-developed skills in data management, data capture and manipulation, image rectification, mapping of flora, fauna and soil information, habitat suitability, land suitability and surface analysis. This is enhanced by her recent training in the advanced use of some of the most recent mapping software.
