Stuart’s fields of expertise are taxonomy of plants and aquatic macroinvertebrates, field botany and ecology. He has more than 16 years’ experience conducting environmental assessments, targeted threatened flora surveys, Regional Ecosystem mapping and validation and revegetation projects throughout Queensland. Stuart is widely published in these fields and maintains a strong interest in taxonomic and ecological research.
As an Associate to NRA, Stuart provides advice on botanic, taxonomic and environmental management issues and assists in field studies and report writing. He has consulted for clients from the mining, government, property development and defence sectors, and has extensive field survey experience in eastern and tropical Australia.
