Darcy is an environmental scientist with over seven years’ experience in contaminated site management, consulting, assessment and remediation. His educational background includes tertiary qualifications in environmental science and environmental engineering.
He has experience in environmental sampling, report writing, data presentation and analysis. His role as a site manager included training site personnel in site environmental audit requirements, resourcing soil remediation programs, compliance review of the site assessment and remediation programs for audit and budget requirements, and liaison with clients, site leaseholders, permit officers and colleagues to ensure safe work access.
Darcy’s project experience includes development and implementation of Environmental Management Plans, investigation of contaminated sites, NEPM and NEMP guideline assessment, creation of databases and data management for land contamination, and acid sulfate soil sampling and analysis with development of management options.
Darcy has extensive experience in soil, water and soil gas/landfill gas sampling and monitoring technologies, including deployment programs of over 40 downhole water logging systems to GasClam monitoring and Summa canister sampling.
