Nadine is a former languages teacher, tour guide, and marine naturalist with a strong interest in the local environment. She completed her Bachelor of Arts (English and Italian) and Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) at James Cook University, and recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Editing and Electronic Publishing at Macquarie University. Nadine is responsible for the production of NRA scientific and technical reports. Her key responsibilities are as follows.

  • Edit reports, letters, technical notes and proposals for content, style, and document design.
  • Collaborate with authors to improve the delivery of technical information.
  • Coordinate production of scientific reports.
  • Provide background material for reports and proposals.
  • Undertake word processing and formatting tasks.
  • Maintain NRA’s Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Produce and update workplace procedures and marketing material.
  • Maintain house style.
  • Maintain in-house library materials and database.
  • Assist with office administration and assist consultants as required.

Nadine has strong skills in information literacy, analysis, writing, and grammar, and finds satisfaction in applying creative solutions to complex problems. She is proficient in editing hard copy and digital material and is skilled in project and database management. She routinely uses programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat X Pro.
