Since commencing work with NRA in 2001, Shannon has developed and applied her technical skills in various aspects of environmental management relating to infrastructure projects and mining, including approval applications, environmental auditing, erosion and sediment control, water management and investigations, and development of Environmental Management Systems (EMS). Shannon is experienced in development applications under Local, State and Federal legislation, including Environmental Authorities, Development Approvals, and EPBC Act referral applications. She has approximately 20 years’ experience working with government and mining clients, specialising in north Queensland.
Shannon is certified in erosion and sediment control in north Queensland (Certificate No. 1003-001), and holds AUSRIVAS accreditation for freshwater aquatic macroinvertebrate monitoring in Queensland.
